The Erayo marketplace was created to promote the creations of a select group of emerging designers from around the world. Sellers must apply to and be accepted by the Erayo Style Advisory Board. Designers interested in becoming Erayo sellers can apply by sending five image samples of their work, and completing a short online form.
Registration as a Seller is subject to a fee of $19.95 per month starting at the time Erayo sent you the e-mail notification (as described in Section 3.1 to Erayo Seller Terms of Use), that you may start uploading your Products onto your Online Catalog.
You can sell any originally designed product that belongs to one of the following categories: jewelry, home décor, kids and fashion accessories. All products must meet standards of good quality and craftsmanship. Erayo reserves the right to decide whether a certain product is not suitable for sale on the marketplace and to remove that item.
Yes, sellers can restrict the sales of their products to specific states. In the near future you will be able to restrict your sales by zip code.
Product dimensions will help your buyers visualize the actual size of the product since photos can be misleading. This will represent your product in the most accurate form and minimize the chances for misunderstandings.
Product images should be 480 pixels by 400 pixels wide or tall. The images should be in .jpg or .gif format, and should be no larger than 2mb.
This is the main image that will represent this product in your collection and across the Erayo platform. Choose your best product photo for this spot.
Secondary images allow you to display the different features of this product, and show it from different angles. Use it to present important elements / views of the product such as buckles, stitches, inside view etc. Avoid using close-ups of the same image if they do not add meaningful information to the viewer.

We recommend using a combination of item description ("ring", “shoulder bag” earrings), the main materials it is made of(18 Karat Gold, Sterling Silver 9.25) and item shape (oval, teardrop, rectangular.) If required, add the unique model name. For example "14K GOLD STARFISH RING" or ”TROYA LEATHER SHOULDER BAG”
A product number is a unique identifier of an item in a collection. Its purpose is to simplify and clearly identify an item to avoid misunderstandings mainly during the ordering process.
Product descriptions should strive to be short. They should include a technical description of the product, but should be written in a compelling, lively manner. For example, "Elegant evening bag made of 100% Camel skin. This two compartment bag has a satin inner liner and an integrated mobile phone pouch. The handles are decorated with brass buckles.”

For products with substantial volume such as bags, a three dimensional description is required (width, depth, height). Flat objects should be described in only two dimensions. Rings need to have their size described in terms of diameter.
Setting minimal quantities is saved for situations when there is a good reason to restrict buyers from ordering just 1 unit of this product. This feature enables you to set a minimum order quantity as a precondition to supplying this product. This description must be accurate. It must include the item type and a description of what it is used for. The description must include all the materials composing the product, and their detailed characteristics.
The designer image should be saved in .jpg or .gif formats, and no larger than 500kb.
A short well written biography will go a long way when buyers consider ordering your designs. Keep your biography short, be selective - don't list your entire life’s achievements, and don't be bland - let your personality show.
Tags are descriptive terms you associate with your designs. They will help buyers locate your collections. Tags are displayed randomly on Erayo’s tag clouds for people to pick out and follow. Tags are single words separated by spaces. You can have as many as you like. For example: Tags relating to your designs could include words like, romantic, casual, art-deco, French and trendy.
Tags are added in their appropriate fields using free text. Each tag is separated from the next with a space.
Yes, you can. Erayo offers an option designed to offer sellers control over the rate of their sales. When "not recruiting" is selected in the seller's profile, then the Erayo system does not allow any orders from new buyers to be placed with this seller. Established buyers for this seller can continue to place orders.
The Get To Know Me Discount is a one-time introductory discount rate offered to buyers on their first purchase from a new seller. This incentive is designed to help buyers get over the initial hurdle of placing their first order with a new seller. The discount and its rate are offered at the seller's discretion and while highly suggested, are not mandatory.
Sellers can change or cancel their introductory offer at any time. Erayo promotes the use of this discount by ranking sellers who do offer it, higher in search results. The seller's position in search results improves as the rate of discount grows higher. Sellers can set or cancel their discount at the "Promote your sales" tab in "MyErayo." Buyers can find out if a seller offers a discount by looking at any of that seller's product pages.
All Erayo members have equal rating rights. This means that all Erayo members are expected and encouraged to rate the other Erayo members they do business with. For every completed order on Erayo, both participating members have the right to rate each other once. We compile ratings as they come in, and publish them when we feel that they are substantial in data points so that we are able to give a full picture of Erayo members.
Buyers can rate the quality of the service they receive from a seller, as well as the quality of the seller's products. Sellers can rate their business experience with buyers on a per order basis.
