Premiere Classe - Paris

September 17, 2008 04:08 by shelly

Erayo's talent locator team scoured the major shows in Paris last week (4-9 September) and for all of you that weren’t there, here is a focused review and a short video of Premiere Classe.

Premiere Classe is a fashion and accessories show presenting fresh and talented designers alongside worldwide known brands.

The show took place in Paris at "who’s next". The main hall was divided into six big areas: Face, Fast (for street codes) Fame, Fresh and Private.

This year the show focused on three countries: Canada, Japan, Malaysia which showcased young emerging designers.

Premiere Classe is known for the young creative designers, new and avant-garde talents full of fun and vibe atmosphere. One can feel the upcoming trends and news for the next year while strolling along the designs.

There were constant motifs seen in the show: bigger accessories: watches, belts, necklaces – bigger and bolder. The "statement" trend was in a total contrast to the clothes chic that seems to be minimalistic and simple-look.

There was also a repeated use of ready-made: parts of antique clocks, zippers and springs.

In contrast to the industrial look and the common use of plastics and vibrant colors, there was a comeback to the vintage and grandma's closet.

Designers have put a lot of efforts and thoughts into the design of their stands, and even small designers have created successfully an inspirational stand.
